Avrupa kıtasında sanat estetiği konusunda Rönesans'tan bu yana yankı bulan pek çok girişim
mevcuttur. Özellikle 20. yüzyıl içinde beliren bu girişimler her iki dünya savaşının ardından
malzeme ve kavramsal içerik konularında önemli mesafeler kat etmiş ve deneysel yaklaşımlar
pek çok Batı ülkesinde kabul görmeye başlamıştır. Ancak plastik sanatlar literatüründe yaşanan
bu dönüşümün Balkanlar üzerindeki etkisini ele alan kaynaklar oldukça sınırlı sayıdadır. Oysa
Balkanlar günümüzde ilgili disiplinindeki değişimleri en ivedi şekilde etüt eden coğrafyalardan
biridir. Bildiri dâhilinde de belirttiğimiz bu önermeyi desteklemek adına Balkanlardaki en güncel
sanat üretimleri sunulmuştur. (Sunum için 2017 yılında Balkan ülkesi sayılan/sayılabilecek
Hırvatistan, Makedonya Cumhuriyeti, Sırbistan ve Yunanistan ülkeleri ziyaret edilmiş, buralarda
(müze ve sanat galerilerinde) güncel saha araştırmalarında bulunulmuştur).

There are many initiatives about on artistic aesthetics that have echoed throughout Europe since
the Renaissance. These initiatives that appears in the 20th century, have made significant
distances in material and conceptual content after both world wars and experimental approaches
have begun to be accepted in many western countries. However, in the plastic arts literature, the
sources that deal with the effect of this transformation on the Balkans, are quite limited. Whereas,
today the Balkans are one of the geographical regions that have studied rapidly the changes in
the discipline of plastic arts. In this study, we have presented the latest art productions in the
Balkans for to support suggestion we mentioned. (For this presentation; Croatia, Republic of
Macedonia, Serbia and Greece (which could be counted as the Balkan country) were visited
(2017), and museums and art galleries in these countries were investigated).
