Kırghız students are generally increasingly preferred Turkish universities.
Though Kirghizistan and Turkey have similar cultures and kinship, living
and educating in different country have created many problems for students.
The aim of this research is to reveal problems of Kirghiz students who are
educating in Turkish Universities and propose solutions for these problems.
To this aim we conducted a survey on Kirghiz Students in Kastamonu
University and share results of this research. It is revealed that economic
conditions are an important problem for Kırghiz students educating in
Turkish universities. Prices produce difficulties for Kırghiz students who
have limited income opportunities. They are consuming less, using cheaper
substitute brands because of lower income opportunities. Some of them are
working though they earn lower wages. Addition to this, we obtained that air
conditions, differences in culture and housing are not an important problem
for Kırghız students. Communication problems are in moderate level.
