Relevance of the presented theme is that modern society in its development
is at the stage of multiculturalism, which is the result of progressive
intercultural contacts between different societies. That is why socialization
plays a key role in the foreign-language environment. The purpose of the
presentation is to study socialization as an integral part of the foreign
language environment and the key moment of a multicultural society. The
objectives of this study are: to study the term "socialization", to identify
problems associated with socialization, to consider language barriers as one
of the complexity of socialization, and to propose ways to minimize language
barriers in the globalization processes. Socialization plays an important role
in each state, as it is it that determines the patterns of behavior and adherence
to them, social values and beliefs of society. Socialization is an integral part of
any society, because it is only through understanding cultural values,
traditional foundations, linguistic peculiarities of foreign-language culture
that one's own culture is better and more easily perceived. A very important
period in the process of formation of socialization is childhood and
adolescence, as the influence of the family, education and upbringing
systems, the media in this period is particularly active. In this regard, the
importance of the professional approach of teachers to the education of
schoolchildren and students was emphasized in order to show interest in the
study of foreign-language culture, the desire to learn and expand the horizons
of knowledge in the field of cultural studies, ethnography, linguistics and
history. Only through the right pedagogical approach can the right goal of
learning a language through history and culture be achieved.
