ICATCES2020 is an opportunity for academics, researchers and industrial practitioners to share their ideas and experiences from around the world who are involved in the Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Advanced Technologies. Authors are invited to submit their original unpublished manuscripts reporting recent developments in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Advanced Technologies to ICATCES2020. All submitted manuscripts will be subject to the blind peer review process. All will be presented as oral or virtual in the event, there will no poster session. Final copies of all papers for inclusion to the conference proceedings shall be submitted to ICATCES Conference Proceedings. Also, selected papers from ICATCES2020, after further revisions, will be published in JESTECH - Engineering Science and Technology, an International Journal (Elsevier,Science Citation Index Expanded) and Journal of Intelligent Systems: Theory and Applications (indexed in Scholar).

Cyber security is about protecting information and ensuring that systems continue to function correctly even when under malicious attack. The traditional approach of securing a system has been to create defensive walls such as intrusion detection systems and firewalls around it, but there are always cracks in these walls, and thus such measures are no longer sufficient by themselves. We need to be able to build better, more robust and more “inherently secure” apps, and we should strive to achieve these qualities in all applications, not just in the ones that “obviously” need special protection.
