AbstractThis paper discusses Devvani's views on the concept of hudus. Devvani discusses the concept of hudus by comparing it with the concept of the imkân of philosophers. According to him, the concept of hudus is one of the most important principles in which religion is built. Because there are important differences between the acceptance of the theory of hudus as the basic principle of religion and the acceptance of the theory of imkan as the basic principle of religion.
