Theological Origin of War
AbstractHuman being was essentially created for the construction of the earth. God has sent man to the earth to perform this essential duty. However, unlike other beings, human being having mind and will has also demonstrated the destruction of the earth as much as construction. Human being who has the ability of obedience and rebellion has exhibited oppositional attitudes towards God, mankind and other creatures as well. Considering its historical adventure, it is seen that human being are in constant struggle. He fought for his values and the elimination of certain issues that were intended to be imposed on him. From a theological perspective, it is seen that the most obvious characteristic of warrior identity of human being was inherited from the first ancestors. Throughout the history of humanity, many wars have occurred for various reasons. One of these reasons is undoubtedly religion or attitudes based on religion. This paper largely aims to discuss the relationship between war and religion or what kind of a role does the religion has in the emergence of wars.
