AbstractAt Autodesk, we make tools to help people with design challenges every day. We help our customers design and make anything, from skyscrapers and smart cars to bridges and blockbuster movies. We automate how things are designed in the digital world and made in the physical world. In fact, we have been in the automation business for over 35 years, and we are optimistic about automation. It presents an opportunity to do things better. It is changing how we work, what we work on, and what we are capable of making. For decades, automation helped us offload tasks and optimize processes. Optimization is what we all do to keep up with our competitors. Now we are at a point where a new relationship with automation is helping people imagine new kinds of products and services. Through human imagination and automation, we can shape the world around us.
