SİVİL TOPLUM ÖRGÜTLERİ VE KİTLE İLETİŞİM ARAÇLARININ ÇEVRE OKURYAZARLIĞI BİLİNCİ OLUŞTURMADAKİ ROLÜ
AbstractEN: Consumption limits ever-expanding, with the rise of consumer society, goods, products and services and even beyond, it goes up, forests, wildlife habitat, water, air consumption. Therefore, in line with consumption and production approach, which cause an increase in consumer society, is particularly damaging to a large extent on natural resources. On the one hand is a source of raw material consumption, on the other hand produced to the consumption and the environmental damage continues, the environmental cost of consumption gradually increases. This, often impossible to reverse damaging and difficult process, conscious consumption will be achieved through delivering social dimension. In this context, the nongovernmental organizations to create social awareness, mobilizing points play an important role. TR: Tüketim toplumunun yükselişi ile tüketimin sınırları giderek genişlemekte, mal, ürün ve hatta hizmetin ötesinde; ormanların, doğal yaşamın, suyun, havanın tüketimine kadar uzanmaktadır. Dolayısıyla tüketim ve paralelinde tüketim toplumunun artışına neden olan üretim yaklaşımı, doğal kaynaklara büyük ölçüde zarar vermektedir. Bir yandan tüketimin hammadde kaynağı oluşu diğer yandan da üretilenin tüketimi ile çevreye verdiği zararın devamlılığı tüketimin çevresel maliyetini daha da artırmaktadır. Bu geri döndürülmesi çoğu zaman imkansız veya çok güç olan zararsal süreç, ancak bilinçli tüketimin toplumsal boyuta ulaştırılması ile sağlanacaktır. Bu bağlamda sivil toplum örgütlerine de toplumsal bilinç oluşturma, harekete geçirme noktalarında önemli görevler düşmektedir.
