AbstractThe arrival of Industry 4.0 has upgraded and optimised machines, processes, products and businesses to become digitally interconnected. It posed a challenging environment to universities with a new technology focus, new industries, new jobs and new generations of students. Universities have to revise and update their approaches in education to remain relevant. This paper highlights UniMAP approaches and capabilities to stay relevant in the era of Industry 4.0. It focuses on proactive policies and initiatives, UniMAP capabilities – academic programs and staffs – and available opportunities. With these approaches and capabilities, UniMAP is confident to overcome and overturn Industry 4.0 challenges, to stay relevant.
