Abstract

The article presents the results of 3-year research work (2015-2017) on photosynthetic activity and accumulation of dry sugar beet biomass yield depending on the main and foliar feeding of liquid forms of fertilizers on meadow seresem of the South of Kazakhstan. One of the priority industrial crops for the south and south - east of the Republic of Kazakhstan is sugar beet, which has a high productivity potential. This culture is the only source of local raw materials for sugar production in Kazakhstan. Analysis of the current situation with the production of sugar beets showed that the yield of this crop in recent years is at the level of 150 - 240 c / ha. This indicates an extreme lack of realization of the potential opportunities of this valuable crop, a low level of technology for its cultivation, insufficient application of agrotechnical and chemical measures to control weeds. The expediency of the studies is due to the real possibility of increasing the yield of sugar beets and improving the quality of root crops in the South and South - East of Kazakhstan. In addition, under the current conditions, the republic is supplied with sugar by 94% imported from abroad, which is accompanied by a steady increase in national prices and an increasing threat to food security, there is an objective need to increase the supply of sugar from domestic raw materials to the domestic market. The novelty and practical significance of the work lies in the fact that for the first time in Zhambyl oblast, on meadow gray soil soils with a close subsidence of groundwater in short-rotational beet crops, the influence of basic and liquid forms of fertilizers urea-ammonium nitrate (UAN) and plant growth regulators (PPP) is studied - novosil and humate and irrigation regime for yield and sugar content of sugar beets.
