Waste Management and Zero Waste Studies in Iron and Steel Industry
AbstractThe management of industrial wastes, which may have negative effects on the environment and human health, has become an important issue in recent years when it has been thrown away or discharged directly to the environment. The most important step in industrial waste management is the determination of wastes from each process and the selection of appropriate waste management technology. Within the scope of this study, a road map that can be used to achieve zero waste targets in the iron and steel industries has been prepared and application proposals are presented.
