Biomass Thermogravimetric Analysis Studies in Turkey

AbstractIn this paper, biomass thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) studies conducted in Turkey were presented by using the data collected from the articles in the literature. The studies were organized and presented based on the values of parameters such as biomass/biomass or biomass/coal blending ratio, heating rate, carrier gas type, kinetic models applied, feedstock particle size, feedstock sample amount, TGA final temperature, and carrier gas flow rate. The results showed that the studies had a variety of values of these parameters, indicating that TGA studies in Turkey cover different aspects of biomass pyrolysis and combustion processes.
