Alkol-Dizel Karışım Yakıtının Kullanıldığı Bir Dizel Motorda Performans ve Egzoz Emisyon Değişimleri

AbstractAbstract: In this study, the effect of an alcohol-diesel blends fuel on the performance and emission of a compression ignition engine was investigated, isobutanol was chosen as the alcohol fuel. The blends of isobutanol (5%, 10% and 15%) was used as a fuel in a large volume diesel engine at the experiments conducted different loads. As a result of the tests, the results obtained with blends fuel are compared with diesel fuel. As a result, it has been found that engine specific fuel consumption is increased while thermal efficiency, exhaust gas temperatures and nitrogen oxide emission are decreased by using diesel/isobütanol blends fuel. Özet: Alkol-dizel karışım yakıtının sıkıştırma ateşlemeli bir motorda performans ve emisyon üzerine etkisinin araştırıldığı bu çalışmada alkol yakıt olarak isobütanol tercih edilmiştir. Büyük hacimli bir dizel motorda, farklı yüklerde yapılan deneylerde yakıt olarak düşük oranlarda isobütanolün (%5, 10 ve 15) dizel ile karışımı kullanılmıştır. Deneyler sonucunda karışım yakıtı ile elde edilen sonuçlar dizel yakıtı ile kıyaslanmıştır. Sonuç olarak dizele isobütanol katkısının motorun özgül yakıt tüketimini bir miktar artırdığı, ısıl verimi, egzoz gaz sıcaklıklarını ve azotoksit emisyonunu ise düşürdüğü tespit edilmiştir.
