DESIGN OF AN INTEGRATED CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SUBWAY TRAIN

Ece KALAY İskender ÖZKUL

Abstract

The cities that are experiencing transportation problems in parallel with a rapidly increasing population and urbanization in recent years allocate a large part of their investments to railed systems. The dirty air that is inhaled during the intensive use of subway trains may cause many health problems. The air conditioning systems used in subway trains, the humidity can be lost when the ideal temperature is given and the increase in the number of toxic and allergic mechanisms in breathing air through inhaled triggers respiratory symptoms and asthma. In this work, the designed air conditioner will recover humidity lost from the environment. A healthier journey will be offered to the subway train by this design.
