ABAQUS Modeling and Investigation of Thermal Conductivity of Nano- Porous Alumina Coating
Heydar Dehghanpour Kemalettin Yılmaz
AbstractIn this study, the thermal conductivity of nano-porous alumina (Al2O3) was investigated. Porous coatings are usually coated on a surface for various protection purposes. In the construction industry, nano-pore coatings can be used to form heat insulation and hydrophobic surfaces. In recent years, advanced materials are taking place of general materials in the construction sector with the development of nanotechnology. In the present study, Al2O3 coatings with three different diameters of nano-porous at three different thicknesses were simulated with the ABAQUS program and the heat transfer behavior was investigated.
